Ignite staff will greet you at Ndola International Airport (NLA). Most flights will depart the U.S. 2 days prior to arrival in Ndola (typically depart Friday to arrive on Sunday). From there, travel in a private bus to check-in to your boutique accommodations. Settle in and then gather as a group for cocktails and a relaxed welcome reception. Get to know your fellow travelers over dinner at your hotel.

Begin today with a tour of Hope, our local partner. Learn about their origin story and their impressive trajectory of growth (they now serve 350+ vulnerable youth). The tour culminates with a lively welcome program with cultural dancing and performances by the students. Serve lunch and then pair up with a Hope Community School student for our reading program. Tonight leaders from Hope host you for dinner in their home.

Visit historical sights in Ndola - hear directly from community leaders about local challenges and cultural practices. Return to Hope Community School to serve lunch, participate in the reading program and support other hands-on activities. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Zambia is filled with stunning artisan crafts. Spend the morning seeking out souvenirs and taking in the sights and smells at two local markets. Fill your suitcase for your return home with vibrant local fabric called chitenge or hand-crafted wooden spoons, bowls and baskets. Return to Hope Community School to serve lunch, participate in the reading program and support other hands-on activities. Dine again with leaders from our local partner.

Begin the day by traveling to the home of one of the children benefited by Hope Community School and learn more about their story of transformation and impact. Join the student along their walk through their village to school. Serve lunch, participate in the reading program and support other hands-on activities. Farewell dinner with local hosts.

Today is a travel day - check out from your Ndola hotel and fly from Ndola to Livingstone (with a brief layover in Lusaka, Zambia's capital city). Enjoy some free time and a sunset boat tour with dinner.

After the group lunch we see Victoria Falls up close. Then, cross the border to Zimbabwe for a cruise on the upper Zambezi River including a four course meal, open bar and with a bit of luck, a beautiful sunset and some African wildlife!

Journey to Chobe National Park in Botswana. After lunch you'll climb into land-rovers and head out across the park in search of stunning wildlife. Return to Livingstone for a final group dinner.
