Communication is the foundation for purposeful leadership and high functioning teams. This day-long immersion teaches leaders how to use critical communication skills to facilitate greater productivity, promote candor and build trust.

Training workshops, community engagement with skilled immigrants and refugees, and our collaborative team environment provides contextual learning opportunities to practice active listening, nonverbal communication techniques and the art of giving and receiving feedback.

Each experience is facilitated by our curated faculty who have expertise and practical experience to coach participants to their full potential. Facilitators guide interactive learning exercises with the goal to extend the learning and application to real-time work situations.

Upwardly Global (UpGlo) is our nonprofit partner for this experience. UpGlo is focused on eliminating barriers for skilled immigrants and refugees and integrating this population into the professional U.S. workforce and American life. This Ignite experience incorporates meaningful interaction between participants and UpGlo job seekers, which creates an unforgettable learning environment for self-discovery and skill-building.


We encourage you to register as early as possible to ensure that you have plenty of time for preparations. Our experiences fill up quickly. Ignite reserves the right to cancel experiences with less than 10 confirmed individuals. If the experience does not reach this threshold we will either refund your experience fee or credit it to a future journey. 

What is included in the fee? The experience fee includes all expenses including transportation, trainings, meals, core activities and excursions, plus a philanthropic contribution to our local partner organization, Upwardly Global.
